Santorini

Santorini (or Thira) is part of the Cyclades group of islands and it is located 128 nautical miles from Piraeus. The total land area is 73 sq. meters and its population is about 13.500 people.

The volcano of Santorini is the reason for the creation of some of the most beautiful and special beaches in the world. The Red and the White beach in Akrotiri, the immense Black beach that begins from Perivolos, continues in Perissa and Kamari and ends at Monolithos are only a few of those beaches that you should not omit to visit.

Santorini villages – architecture

The characteristic of Santorini's architecture are unique in Greece. The houses are built in a special way, in unique harmony with the volcanic landscape of the island, in a way that offers protection from the strong winds, without losing, however, its unique Aegean light.

The volcanic soil of Santorini and the special climate conditions result in the production of unique agricultural products with special taste.
